Holmes County State Park Is Loaded With Beauty Plus Outdoor Fun

Holmes County State Park in Durant, Ms. is located in the beautiful hardwood forests and home to an abundance of wildlife,

and provide the scenic backdrop for a variety of outdoor activities. Built around two lakes covering 88 acres, the park offers such diverse activities as fishing, roller skating, camping and cabin rentals.

The neighboring towns are close enough to the park for those conveniences that you forgot to bring.

Durant is about 5 miles north, but the shopping is very limited.

You will not find a Walmart close by unless you go to Kosciusko or Jackson.

Those cities are about an hour or so away.

This park offers easy access to Interstate 55. The convenient location and diverse outdoor recreational amenities make this campground a favorite get away place.

It has a wooden floor skating rink. A great place to get out and walk, picnic, have family gatherings or just go sit by the water and enjoy the day.
